Railtours
These special excursions are organised most weekends, a day out for families and enthusiasts alike. We enjoy silver service cuisine on a trip to Cornwall pulled by 2 classic class 50 diesel locos.

Maglev
The Magnetic Levitation system that has been developed by Transrapid in Germany could be the future of passenger transport, in part one we have the theory and history explained with a look under the bonnet. We then get to take a “flight” around the test track reaching speeds of 300 mph.

Highland Development
We meet up with Frank Roach the Highland Railways Development officer and take a look at a few of the innovative projects he has initiated to promote extra freight and passenger traffic in this remote and scenic part of the world.
